Donald Trump appeared at UFC 302 and received a huge ovation from the fans at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday night as fans awaited the main event featuring Dustin Poirier challenging for Islam Makhachev’s UFC Lightweight Championship.

Trump walked into the arena with UFC president Dana White. He also stopped for a second to greet comedian Theo Von. Trump shook the hands of some fans and waved to the crowd."

The former president then took his spot just outside the UFC Octagon and readied to watch the main card."

It was one of Trump’s first public appearances since he was found guilty on all counts in a New York criminal trial on Thursday.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. Trump pleaded not guilty to all counts.

"This was a disgrace. This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt as a rigged trial and disgrace. It wouldn't give us a venue change," Trump said afterward. "We were at five percent or 6% in this district, in this area. This was a rigged, disgraceful trial."

Trump said "the real verdict is going to be November 5th by the people."

"And they know what happened here and everybody knows what happened here," Trump said. "You have a Soros backed DA and the whole thing."

He added: "We didn't do anything wrong. I'm a very innocent man. And it's okay. I'm fighting for our country. I'm fighting for our Constitution. Our whole country is being rigged right now."

Trump said that the case was "done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt an opponent, a political opponent."

"And I think it's it's just a disgrace. And we'll keep fighting--we'll fight till the end and we'll win because our country's gone to hell," he said. "We don't have the same country anymore. We have a divided mess. We're a nation of decline, serious decline."

Trump said "millions and millions of people pouring into our country right now from prisons and from mental institutions, terrorists. And they're taking over our country. We have a country that's in big trouble."

"But this was a rigged decision right from day one, with a conflicted judge who should have never been allowed to try this case. Never," he said. "And we will fight for our Constitution. This is long from over."

Trump has made semi-regular appearances at UFC events. He’s close friends with White, who spoke at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Trump’s favor."

Why would anyone want to elect a president who can't even visit most of the countries the US is allied with due to them being a convicted felon?

And how was Clintons stuff leaked? Not by a court or a proper investigation, but by russian hackers. They could also have done it with Republicans, but they had already a save position with their top candidate, so they just have to make sure, they can support him as much as possible. Spoiler: The Republicans are no way better as Democrats. But thats the problem with a two party system.

the problem with a 2 party system is that 1 party is always exempt from anything they do. ie dems.

dems can say elections cant be stolen and then say they can be stolen and then say 4 years later they cant be stolen and then say 4 years later they can be stolen. I can see why people like being democrats though. you can be two-faced and get away with anything.

Dems are such flamin', brazen hypocrites. And they like to come across as having the inside track on democracy. And now they keep harping that if Trump gets reelected, he'll take away our freedoms. Isn't that what they just did to him with that sorry excuse for a trial? One of the first things he wants to do if reelected, is for us to start drilling our own oil again, to strive for energy independence. Wouldn't that actually bolster our freedom, making us less dependent on countries that hate us?

Maybe I am missing the point, but if I remember correctly, Republicans (foremost Mr Trump) were ALL THE TIME talking about stolen elections without having any evidence. Democrats are not talking about stolen elections, but they were whining they lost the elections beside wining the popular vote. That is a very different definition. If more people in the US vote for you, but you don't become the president, it sounds bit weird and lamenting about it is imo fair. There was to my knowledge never ANY attempt by the Democrats to overthrow it with anything illegal, only asking for legal methods like recounting.
Meanwhile, people like Mr Trump claims that the Democrats are faking votes, accusing they use dead people votes. All without evidence. And after nothing happens, because it has no legal standing, he is calling for a revolution. THIS is atrocious and criminal.

Nancy was talking all the time about stolen and hijacked elections, she said that she had cold hard evidence that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election. then before the 2020 election, Nancy and Joe said that Trump was going to steal the election again and Joe said that he was going to lose by chicanery. Hillary said not to concede under any circumstances.

Hillary said last year that Russia was going to steal the election again. oh and dont forget that Obama said that our elections are unhackable and mocked Trump for suggesting US elections could be rigged.

Because fucking Russia was intervening! They hacked into Podestas email account and grabbed all the emails from there. Trump definitely benefit from it and for Putin people like Trump are the much better choice. I can't remember any confirmed hack on the election itself, but definitely intervened by e.g. the democrat email leak just before election.

hacking an email is a lot different then hacking an election. Mueller concluded that Trump won fair and square and the election was not hijacked like Nancy said it was. Hillary lost because everyone thought that she would win in a landslide so they didnt vote.

now the dems are intervening in this election by falsely accusing Trump of crimes that happened over 8 years ago. dems conveniently waited for an election to year to try and stop Trump from winning. Hillary said last year that Russia will try and hijack this election. if Russia had the ability to hijack elections then Trump would have been Pres in 2020 and dems would have rioted and looted and burned america to the ground.

also dont forget that Joe said he would lose the 2020 election by chicanery. what happened to the chicanery? was the election investigated for chicanery?
