shareI'm really beginning to appreciate how one major American political party is increasingly being blatantly associated with corruption, degeneracy and criminality. I was so sick of Republicans pretending they were so righteous do-gooder Born Again Christians. Now when interacting with new acquaitances, it helps all of us to learn who to watch out for (Trump cultists), and occasionally who's more safe to be cordial with.
The next task should be to whittle away at this new MAGA GOP until it's a shadow of it's former self. Then, we can begin to prop up third parties composed entirely of law-abiding patriots with various policy ideas, and they can compete with, or subvert the people's party, the Democrats, when they've been less than successful. Republicans' influence will eventually phase out of government, as, in the presence of sane civil service—a lawlessness platform gets single digit votes.
I actually think it's possible that up to half of Trump voters will vote for Robert F Kennedy, reducing the Republican nominee to a third party status for the first time since Taft in 1912.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that Trump a BILLIONAIRE, presumably with the legal team that such money normally buys, wasn't able to raise reasonable doubt about ANY of the charges?
My wife was just on a jury. They found the woman accused not guilty. It was a physical altercation, without any doubt that she did indeed seriously injure her partner. But the public defender the woman had was able to raise reasonable doubt and the jury, including my wife were not sure she was "guilty".
It is not likely that Trump's team failed to raise a reasonable doubt about NONE of the charges.
A reaonable person would conclude that the trial was baised, and that the convictions thus are not a Trump problem but a Democrat Party problem, showing how they are abusing the system to intefer in the election.
