Former president Donald Trump promised to crush pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses, telling a roomful of donors — a group that he joked included “98 percent of my Jewish friends” — that he would expel student demonstrators from the United States, according to participants in the roundtable event with him in New York.

“One thing I do is, any student that protests, I throw them out of the country. You know, there are a lot of foreign students. As soon as they hear that, they’re going to behave,” Trump said on May 14, according to donors at the event.

When one of the donors complained that many of the students and professors protesting on campuses could one day hold positions of power in the United States, Trump called the demonstrators part of a “radical revolution” that he vowed to defeat. He praised the New York Police Department for clearing the campus at Columbia University and said other cities needed to follow suit, saying “it has to be stopped now.”

Does Trump forget that everyone, including aliens, in the USA has 1st Amendment rights? Probably not. Trump is disgusted by the 1st Amendment as much as he is by the 2nd Amendment.

Trump knows that Americans are also protesting, where is he going to deport an American to?

There were 200+ leftists embedded in the J6 crowds of 2,000-2,500 protesters.

The president is the Commander in Chief. The military cannot strip the president's powers. There you go again, calling Trump a doormat.

I tried providing you with links when I first started posting on this board and you responded with nothing less than gaslighting, deflections and denialism.

Had any military commander actually done what Matthews claims, then any president would have brought that person up on charges and had them fired.

He was temporarily stripped of certain presidential powers, not CIC title.

What did Congress do to trump that stripped his powers between January 6th and January 20th?

They accused him of inciting an insurrection on J6 and they started an impeachment process that lasted one month.

If you read the pdf files associated with the page, it shows that Trump signed the pardons on the dates the page indicates. Can't you come up with some lies are are harder to disprove? Your lies are kind of boring.

Nope, the dates written above the signature is when it was granted which is the same date as it is on the page where all those pdfs are listed.

Democrat Governors tied the hands of Police Officers, while they criticized Trump’s repeated pleas to “bring in the National Guard.”

Instead, Democrat Politicians chose to encourage their supporters to keep rioting, while the media claimed the riots were “Fiery, but peaceful.”

Same as the Capitol protest; Trump spent most of J6 calling in the National Guard, but his underlings/advisors betrayed him by ignoring him.
