Regarding the J6 indictments , he just keeps claiming it’s election interference, a witch hunt and “they indicted me for you.”

He probably doesn't even have a proper defense. Trump never even seems to think of preparing himself for any potential setbacks when it comes to his actions. He just always says things without any proper context or explanation behind them.

The defense does not need to provide a defense. The prosecution goes first; if Trump's lawyers can poke enough holes in their case, then they can rest without calling any witnesses and wrap it up with a closing argument.
