Trump: "3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico"

Trump tweeted this morning:

"3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths. As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000..."

Followed by:
".....This was done by the Democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible when I was successfully raising Billions of Dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico. If a person died for any reason, like old age, just add them onto the list. Bad politics. I love Puerto Rico!"

Just when I think I can't be surprised by anything that comes out of this guy's mouth he manages to bottom out and shock me yet again.

reply

He may have tossed 6 - 18 rolls of paper towels at them, but 3,000 deaths is the confirmed number. What a jackass.

reply

I wondered if or when this would be acknowledged.

reply

That is the honest truth. The majority died months after because it's essentially a Dem sh1thole.

You're a sick troll and everything you post here is garbage. Never need to read your trash again, thanks!

For those that do not have TDS...

64 people died during the hurricane.

Since the Hurricane ended, more deaths have happened due to shit infrastructure, and corrupt local officials. A few weeks ago, the PR government inflated it from 64 to 3000+. Most people wouldn't know this either. Expect more of this nonsense between now and the midterms.

reply

WTF. The Milken Institute isn't the PR government. The study compared the loss of life post-Maria to the loss of life prior to Maria. Post-Maria, the mortality rate jumped to roughly 22% which they concluded as 2,975 deaths.

That's the conservative estimate. The Harvard study concluded there were 4,645 deaths.

After a massive hurricane, or two back to back, pretty much all infrastructure turns to "shit infrastructure." Since we live in a democracy, we can help those that need it. The problem is republican administrations only care when these storms hit red or purple states.

reply

Except they do care.....Some folks in PR don't apparently.

How do you know PR's "central government" could handle such a wide distribution of water in the wake of that kind of disaster? You sure are basing a lot on water bottles. The article even admits it doesn't know where the breakdown occurred. You can see it hinting at blaming central government, but they do it without explanation. This is why Murdoch's New York Post is on life support.

reply

Anything to defend Trump. Cultist.

reply

Just make it 6 million and you can get back to calling Trump Hitler.

Do you understand that nobody even has to look at the studies to know something is up just by hearing numbers like those? This is why liberals are so dependent on censorship and a controlled press.

reply

You mean trumptards just want to ignore the scientific method because it runs counter to their pipe dreams. You comment on censorship doesn't even make any sense as the Republicans are in control. Controlled press? Please. Anything to excuse your stupidity.

reply

The same scientific method that determined that there are 68 different genders, that Michael Brown had his hands up, and that Polar Bears would be extinct by 2015? How many more faulty equations must we endure?

reply

You complain about scientific method, but Trump's method is to deny it just because it makes him look bad. There isn't a more pathetic method than that. It doesn't exist. And you go along with it because you're just as stupid as he is.

reply

T-rump likes them stupid. They stay stupid for him.

reply

That’s a very hypocritical reply lol.

reply

I dare you to cite the hypocrisy, coward.

reply

Exactly this. Disputing a study means providing evidence to the contrary. Of course such evidence doesn’t exist so the only thing Trump can do is say it’s fake. It’s pathetic.

reply

He is truly unbelievable in his audacity and rudeness. He has no sense of decency or conscience. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.

reply

Markdown474, the Dems don't have to make him look bad. Trump does a very good job of it himself.
His days are numbered. . . countdown.
