Herr Kaiser Drumpf (your chosen name says a LOT about you, btw!)
Well, uh yeah, I DO have to "worry" about $200 sneakers! The property taxes in my town just went up again!. I do not have the money to waste on $200 sneakers. I am proudly frugal and shop for a bargain wherever and whenever I can. If you can waste money on overpriced crap, well...more power to you. But I am one of those people who puts a little water in the shampoo bottle to get the last bit out of it.
Every autumn our church puts out a call to replenish its food pantry. I usually donate a bag or two of food for several weeks. I am no better than anyone else, but I like to give my money to people who truly need it rather than waste it on overpriced crappola! I also love to shop when things are on sale!
Funny you should mention ice cream shops. There is one two blocks from my house. I have only been in it one time to buy ice cream for my brother-in-law. He shoveled my snow when I was sick. I rarely buy ice cream or any other junk food. But if I do, I buy it when my local grocery store has a sale. Buy one carton and get one free.
Should I be embarrassed or repentant for saving money? Duh... I don't think so. I just don't waste it.
You need to clearly consider a life away from Trump hatred. His billions don't affect how I live my life. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd still be a cheapskate. Not a political statement. Just how I was raised, working class, hard working people who had to save a buck.
