America first, baby.

All these Dems and liberals who want illegal and irresponsible immigration have the mind of a sympathetic toddler and do not know whats best for anyone. Half of them can't even raise their own damn kids anyways.

reply

"Half of them can't even raise their own damn kids anyways."

Like Jared and Ivanka?

reply

RINOs!

reply

Your are the most tabloid driven person on this board, you only research the facts that benefit you.

reply

LOL! I got that from Ivanka's own book, so if you want to call her book tabloid, have at it. I won't stop you.

He wasn't talking to all Americans - he was talking to his base, which shares his xenophobia and racism.

I agree with the response from Rep. Terri Sewell (D-AL) after the speech from Tele-prompter T-rump:

“The immigration portion was so xenophobic and anti-immigrant and that’s just not the foundation of America. I’ve always felt like you should stare a bully in the face and never walk away from a fight and it’s clear to me that this president has it out for people who don’t look like him, who are not of the same background, and that’s anti-American.”

reply

[deleted]

From his Tweets - not his teleprompter. The real T-rump is in his Tweets.

reply

[deleted]

He's still basking in his tele-prompter performance. Give him another day or so when the real T-rump and his Tweets come out.

From close minded ignorant leftwing lemmings that’s where. These people on the left are incapable of independent thought. It’s sad.

Americans aren't dreamers right now, they're in a nightmare!

reply

It was obvious Democrats hated the line.

I mean, if they're willing to shut the government down over a bunch of illegal aliens, and not the real concerns of the American people, it's obvious they don't give a rat's ass about American Dreamers.

And from their reaction to the latest offer on DACA, the 'Dreamers' aren't their concern either. It's all about chain migration to them. Importing as many new Democrat voters as possible.

reply

I love T-rump's negotiation on DACA - "I'll keep the children safe if you give me a wall". Great guy.

reply

"the children"

The chillllldren!!!! Oh my god, think of the chilllldren!!!!

The average age of the Dreamers is 24 years old.

The Chilllldren!!!!

The Democrat Party thrives on morons like you believing their bullshit.

reply

The chillldren!!!! LOL yes, a bunch of illegals entered the country ILLEGALLY with their children and NOW it is the fault and responsibility of the American taxpayer to support those chilllldren!

Just get the h#ll out of my country and take your "children" with you! If you would like to enter LEGALLY, go through the LEGAL process LEGALLY like some many others have done.

We owe foreigners NOTHING! Not xenophobic or racist, just common sense. No country is obliged to allow lawbreakers across its borders. And that includes every country in the world! Why does the USA have to be a bunch of a## kissers for people who want to escape sh#t hole countries?

If I were here and trying to become a citizen LEGALLY I would be seriously p@ssed off at those who jumped the line illegally and act all snotty and entitled to their "right" to American citizenship.

reply

"Just get the h#ll out of my country and take your "children" with you!"

Again, I need to point out that is not what my Catholic priest tells us each week in his sermon, thank God. Our diocese is a much more welcoming community.

reply

I totally get where you are coming from Doggie, I really do. Our diocese is also welcoming. Does your bishop have a "Bishop's Appeal" every year? Ours does. Each one of the parishes is assessed a certain amount. A lot of the money goes to helping immigrants. I try to donate my fair share.

But the Church is not the same as the government and the law. Why does it NOT bother you that people cross our borders illegally and expect that they should be welcomed with open arms?

Where is it in the Bible that says people are entitled to break laws if they are in need?

I seriously don't get it. I wish you could explain your reasoning to me. I know we have had our differences and "yelled" at each other. LOL But at this point I wonder why you really come down on the side of lawbreakers? Can you explain it to me? I am really curious.

reply

"Why does it NOT bother you that people cross our borders illegally and expect that they should be welcomed with open arms? "

Because there was a time when other immigrants came here and were not welcomed with open arms. And as Ann Coulter likes to sugar-coat it and say, "They were settlers". Those who were here before them did not see them as 'settlers' but illegals who took their land away. And more unwanted immigrants came after them (my ancestors) who were not welcomed. And more came after that. And many of these 'settlers' broke laws and became criminals, generation after generation. It's not exactly a new phenomenon among the recent immigrants.

So who are we to say 'no more' and who are we to decide 'when'?

reply

Okay, I welcome your thoughts. I agree with some of them, to a point. But only to a point...

I remember that the Irish were greeted with work signs in Massachusetts with, "No Irish" need apply.

A lot of my ancestors came from central Europe and were Catholic and they faced a lot of prejudice.

But all these folks came here legally. They went through Ellis Island and if they had TB or other illnesses, they were sent BACK home. The USA did not accept everyone. Only healthy people who were going to be an asset to the country were allowed in. It is just common sense.

No nation is required to accept everyone and anyone who wants to come in. Don't you think a country has a right to look after the best interests of its own people FIRST?

I'm not saying "no more". But just "no more" for the time being. We need to assimilate the millions who have come here and don't know our language and our culture. And sadly, a lot do NOT want to assimilate. My ancestors, and yours too probably, wanted to become Americans. Now we have a huge block of illegals who expect us to bow down to their culture. They refuse to learn English and expect our schools to teach their kids in their language.
If their culture back home was so great, then why did they leave it?

I have no problem with someone who wants to come here and become an American. I have a major problem with those who sneak across our borders, have their "anchor babies" and use our laws to benefit themselves in illegal ways.

reply

"So who are we to say 'no more' and who are we to decide 'when'? "

Are you really claiming that a country has no right to determine its own immigration policy? That they have to let in anyone who shows up?

Seriously?

The Democrat Party thrives on morons like you believing their bullshit.

reply

'Are you really claiming that a country has no right to determine its own immigration policy? That they have to let in anyone who shows up? Seriously?"

No, I think a country has that right. But I don't see the Republicans 'solution' as being the right one. I don't see their criteria - starting with skin color - as the right answer.

reply

"No, I think a country has that right. But I don't see the Republicans 'solution' as being the right one. I don't see their criteria - starting with skin color - as the right answer. "

So then YOU'RE the one to say 'no more' and YOU'RE the one to decide 'when'?

What arrogance.

The Democrat Party thrives on morons like you believing their bullshit.

reply

"So then YOU'RE the one to say 'no more' and YOU'RE the one to decide 'when'? "

Wow - logic really does escape you. You can't seem to follow a conversation.

Try going back to school on-line!

reply

"Wow - logic really does escape you. You can't seem to follow a conversation."

There it is. Doggy's typical vapid reply. Claiming I'm wrong without actually explaining why.

Your quote:

"So who are we to say 'no more' and who are we to decide 'when'?"

Which is saying, who are WE to say no more immigration, and who are WE to say when immigration is okay?

Then you turn around and say this:

"No, I think a country has that right. But I don't see the Republicans 'solution' as being the right one. I don't see their criteria - starting with skin color - as the right answer. "

There you're invalidating your first point, by saying WE do have the right to say 'no more and 'when', but only if WE agree with your standards of what immigration should be.

Fucking hypocrite.

The Democrat Party thrives on morons like you believing their bullshit.

reply

Geez, you can twist the most simple statements around. Typical republican.

reply

"Geez, you can twist the most simple statements around. Typical republican. "

And once again, you're unable to defend what you said, so you just attack me.

No coherent argument at all. Zero.

Fucking idiot.

The Democrat Party thrives on morons like you believing their bullshit.

reply

"the children"

Question for you:

Did you actually believe the Democrats' and media's lies and think the Dreamers were children, or did you know they weren't and intentionally tried to bullshit me with that claim?

It's got to be one or the other.

Curious people want to know.

The Democrat Party thrives on morons like you believing their bullshit.

reply

Snags;
Whoa, hold up. trumpf's the one holding the dreamers hostage to get his too-damn expensive wall which we'll all wind up paying for to the tune of 25 billion dollars. Yep, we, the American people, will be footing the bill for it---not that he cares.

reply

Kate Steinle had dreams too.

Kayla Cuevas and Nisa Mickens had dreams too.

Noah also addressed the president's comments on "Dreamers." Trump said in the speech, "My duty, and the sacred duty of every elected official in this chamber, is to defend Americans—to protect their safety, their families, their communities, and their right to the American Dream. Because Americans are dreamers too."

Noah responded, "Damn. Did Trump just 'All Lives Matter' the Dreamers?" referring to the "All Lives Matter" movement that arose in response to "Black Lives Matter."

This is the Daily Show I am quoting from some article. Liberals or Trevor in general thinks that the term dreamers is only for those people but the real fact is everyone coming here wants to dream the American dream, even Americans that are already here. Everyone wants to be successful, rich, and famous. It's typical of these leftists types to think only of one group cause they're not from here which I call BS.

Also I think Trump should make a deal. Keep the 1.6-1.8 million Dreamers, deport the 11 million illegals, win win. Dems won't have it though cause they love their illegals.
