Since you are obviously so concerned about it there are one of two things, or both, that you can do.

1) Go to Chicago and see what you can do to help.
Upset that not enough are marching against it?
Then organize a march.

2) If you don't wish to go to Chicago then you could look up and find an organization that is doing what it can against the violence and give them a donation. I'm sure they will appreciate any amount. Even just $5.

Now why don't you wimps put your money where your mouth is and do one or both of those things?

Ok, first of all, the question was what am I going to do, what is Donald Trump going to do. So, there goes about 5/6th of your remark.

And I'm not talking about giving police more power, I'm taking about letting them do their jobs - eliminate crime.

Did you know that CPD is now required to give every single person they stop and talk to a "contact card" or an "investigatory stop report (ISP)"? Each one of these takes between 20-60 minutes to fill out.

How can police to their jobs when they are doing paperwork? Not much time to get bad guys when your head is buried in a forms is there?

The city of Chicago has been bullied by organizations like the ACLU and BLM into âss-backward police practices in the name of manufactured PC bûllshít like "building community trust".

Or maybe a beard-waxing and a good march will help?

The Chicago Sun-Times indicates 100 people were shot in gun-controlled Chicago over the July 4th weekend and 14 of the victims died from their wounds.

That means 86 were shot and wounded and 14 were killed over one holiday weekend in Chicago. Yet Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) supports even more gun control on the good guys–federally licensed firearms dealers–and opposes concealed carry reciprocity for law-abiding citizens.

The current mayor blatantly defends the criminals. He gets more upset over the criminals being called criminals, than he does over the crimes being committed on his watch in his city.
