To the Trumptards who start threads on Chicago violence...

Since you are obviously so concerned about it there are one of two things, or both, that you can do.

1) Go to Chicago and see what you can do to help.
Upset that not enough are marching against it?
Then organize a march.

2) If you don't wish to go to Chicago then you could look up and find an organization that is doing what it can against the violence and give them a donation. I'm sure they will appreciate any amount. Even just $5.

Now why don't you wimps put your money where your mouth is and do one or both of those things?

Trump lies:
Mexico is going to pay for the wall.
I can stop federal funds.

Chicago needs to stop electing Dems. The gun control laws didn't work.

375 victims have been killed in Chicago in 2023.

According to the citizens and a police capt. They feel that they are being portrayed unfairly by Trump. They said that most of the violence comes from only 2 districts and they are working very hard to fix those districts. They are also offended by Trump's threats to have the military come into their city.

Regarding number one: Why should I go to Chicago? It's not like they would heed my advice. The city will continue to do that which doesn't work, just more of it. And I can think of more efficient forms of exercise that don't annoy people than marching around with a sign.

Regarding number two: Why is the liberal non-solution to everything to throw money at it?

I'd rather just expect the city of Chicago to gets its act together. Many other cities in the USA are doing just fine. They aren't populated by a different species. I think it's entirely consistent to expect adults to learn to solve their own problems without someone having to come to their rescue or something giving them a handout. But I know, the idea of people being responsible for themselves is a foreign concept to some liberals.

Organize a fücking march?

Please... PLEASE tell me how a band of hipster, beardo millennials marching along, clanging pots, chanting and blocking decent people from getting home from work is going to help the endless slaughter in the streets of Chicago.

And throwing money at a problem, especially in the most politically corrupt city in the country, is about as useful as throwing it down wishing well and clicking your heels twice.

There have been over 400 shootings in 2017 already.

The problem starts with handcuffing the police department by not letting them use useful tools like stop and frisk for one.

This is as rough as city as it gets with the baddest MF'ers there are.

Being nice just doesn't work. The political correctness bûllshït by our impotent mayor combined with endless settlements handed out by CPD has completely neutered Chicago law enforcement.

And until the black community comes together and stands up to this crap by reporting the perpetrators of murder and violence, nothing will change.

The men in these communities also need to step up, put the gun down and be father instead of running around impregnating everything they see and running off.

Pfffft... start a march. Perfect.

I thought Trump was going to fix America? Right wasn't that the main theme of his campaign? Now he could give a *beep* less about Chicago. Though he liked to use it to get votes.

I think we all need to sit back and make Trump come good on his promises. He does have the "best" and most "perfect" plans of any human in the history of the world. Well that is what he says anyways.

Not to make light of Chicago there is obviously a serious problem there. Pointing fingers at each other won't help. A march won't help, Trump is clueless.

Police already have enough power. We can't let things like this give police more power. Bad idea.

He can only fix America as a whole unless he sends the feds in like he threatened. They can only fix themselves. It's not the feds job to run every city. We don't want that incompetence on a daily basis.
