strong dramatic role. good actor

And his role in Marty as one of the guys who invites Marty to come along with some really wild girls. He's both brash and then later sadly let down as the excitement of telling his story runs out of steam.

I don't remember him in Marty, but next time I keep an eye out for that scene. Sounds great.

Yes, check out his other work such as in The Untouchables. It will make you forget Sgt Carter.

he was a good respected actor, sad he died young
