Did Kristen Stewart ever have the opportunity to become an A-list actress?
Of course.share
She was an A-lister during the entire run of the Twilight series.
She was a sought after performer, despite being rather average looking (for a leading actor), a rather mediocre actor, and having demonstrated little charisma. Unfortunately for Ms. Stewart, she was unable to capitalize upon her newfound fame and her choices of roles where ones which were unlikely to make her a bigger star in Hollywood. So when the Twilight franchise ended, so did her popularity.
She starred in the first film in the live action Snow White series, but has eschewed performing in its sequel. Despite not having the acting chops to do so, she then took on a some arthouse type roles, all of which failed to gain box office attention. While there was an attempt by Stewart to re-enter the lucrative bigger budget film market with the recent Charlie’s Angel reboot, it bombed and so did her chances of returning to the A-list.
Finally Stewart is apparently not employing a competent publicist nor a publicity agency, as her personal life is a disaster that would have best been kept under wraps. While she’s certainly free to do whatever she likes, if she wants to remain popular in the artificiality that a Hollywood superstardom, she needs to play the game within a certain range. Unfortunately for Stewart she wants fame, but not if she also cannot do what she pleases if she wants to keep it.
Kristen Stewart WAS an A-list star briefly.
However that time has passed, and it’s unlikely to ever return.
