Man, Jussie can NEVER live this down

A person can commit many crimes, a lot of them are understandable whether it's from poverty, financial crisis, heat of the moment, jealousy, etc. But what Jussie did was a preplanned fake racial attack with A NOOSE around his neck!

So yes, some crimes are understandable but this one is a truly UNFORGETTABLE, UNACCEPTABLE, and UNFORGIVABLE.

Jussie will have a hard time going anywhere in public for the rest of his life.

It’s not just that. He did it for entirely selfish career reasons in the midst of historic societal racial friction that could easily have led to public violence. He took no responsibility, was remorseless and untruthful on the witness stand, and then doubled down by blaming the Nigerian brothers for attacking him due to homophobia. He completely humiliated his family and high profile friends and even the president who all came to his defense in the weeks following the fake attack. His lies and prevaricating just never stopped no matter who it damaged. The guy is plainly a sociopath who perceives himself too elite to be concerned about the damage he has done. He needs to spend a year or two confined to rehabilitate himself and to serve as a lesson to deter others from engaging in these profoundly destructive racial-cultural hoaxes.

If he did a drug related crime or a heat of the moment incident with a romantic rival, that's easily forgivable especially if he entered treatment. But this crime, the only thing I can think of is to profusely apologize, say how really wrong he was, and to commit himself to racial equality.

I doubt he'll do any of this but I will say if he did admit his crime and apologize and say he'll never do something like this again I would forgive him.

He won’t do any jail time and just play the race card and the homophobia card, you think the media will put his feet to the fire? Trust me he’s going to make more money than Kapernick as an “activist” thus will turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to his career

I think that the motive might have been to support Kamala Harris' decades-too-late anti lynching bill.

Humilated the president? Biden still hasn't deleted his shit-stirring tweet!

Deserves a Razzie Lifetime Achievement award for that performance.

I agree. It's totally selfish and borderline treasonous. I hope he's sentenced to the MAX, and successively not concurrently. 15 years!
