THIS IS A CAREER THAT DESERVED TO BE BIGGER

IM WATCHING WHOS HARRY CRUMB?...JOHN CANDY IS GREAT AS ALWAYS,ANNIE POTTS IS THE COMPLETE PACKAGE AS ALWAYS...THEN THERE IS SHAWNEE SMITH,BEAUTIFUL,FUNNY,TALENTED,UNIQUE LOOK...I REMEMBER HER FROM NUMEROUS THINGS,SHE NEVER TOOK THAT BIG STEP INTO LEADING ROLES THOUGH,EXCEPT MAYBE THE SAW FLICKS...A REAL SHAME.

reply

Nah, she is bad. Couldn't even play the game of Saw properly.

reply

I always enjoy watching her. The first time I remember seeing her was in a promo for a TV movie in 1988 called “I Saw What You Did”

reply

I liked her in The Blob

reply

She was cute as the cheerleader and much younger at the time than most people are used to seeing her, e.g. in Becker.

reply

Scored a movie franchise and a long running sitcom. She did better than most.

reply

WELL...HOLY SHIT...I HADNT EVEN REALIZED SHE WAS ON BECKER...I HARDLY WATCHED THAT SHOW...THATS A GOOD NOTCH ON THE BELT...WOULDNT HAVE MINDED SEEING HER IN SOME LEADING ROLES IN FILMS THOUGH,KIND OF LIKE MEG RYAN OR SANDRA BULLOCK.

reply

was just thinking about her when i saw angela gargano on a magazine cover and she looked like shawnee. i'm not sure who angela gargano is.

reply

angela gargano is an american ninja warrior athlete. it said it on the magazine cover. a good successor for shawnee i would assume.

reply

I actually used to know her. She dated a friend of mine, many moons ago. She was very nice (and a total flirt)!

reply

I was sure "Who's Harry Crumb?" was going to be her launchpad.

reply

She was upstaged by Juliette Lewis, who looks and sound similar, but had better connections in Hollywood.
