People wait for this poor lady to die to see how talented she was. People are saying all over Glee videos how amazing the character of Santana was and what a great voice she had NOW. What about before? Why does she have to die for others to know how great someone was? Why couldn't they appreciate you when you were alive? It's really sad that people tend to realize how amazing you are when you are no longer around anymore. We cannot keep taking advantage of the presence of others and wait for them to die to see how incredible they were. Sadly, a lot of artists end up that way.

Sometimes people exaggerate how good or talented someone was at something after they died. She was not "amazing".

Yeah was saying that to my girlfriend last night, when Paul Walker was alive, everyone said he was a shit actor and then he dies, all if a sudden he's a legend.

He is a legend but also a shit actor. You can be a legend while still being trash at what you are doing. I love how he died on his way back from a charity event. So much for God loving you.

I see what you mean, however when he was alive nobody thought if him as a legend, at least not as many people do today.

you don't become a legend while you're alive. You need to die or become disabled like Muhammad Alie before the moniker of "legend" is bestowed upon you.

Pretty much this. It's not about recognizing she had a great voice or not, they just want in on what's trending atm. Don't forget about me bruh, I am important too. They'll forget about her in a few weeks and move on with their life as they've already done until someone brings it up again.
