hmmm... I don't know how I feel about this, Morelli is supposed to be Italian and muscular! O'Mara's Irish? not completly sure about that fact, but know he does not look like the Italian Stallion Morelli!

Jason has a very nice body already. If you watched Life On Mars, the scenes where he's shirtless shows that he's in good shape.

I feel more that Katherine Heigl is less of Stephanie Plum.

O'Mara's going to suck as Morelli. Morelli is not meant to be pure comedy. In fact, Morelli isn't comedy at all. Morelli is supposed to play straight-man to Stefanie's antics. Morelli is supposed to be the David Spade to Stefanie's Chris Farley. O'Mara has a great comedic or wiseguy look- he'd be brilliant as Eddie Gazarra- but he falls flat in the sex department. Morelli is supposed to make women melt just at the look of him. I took a look at O'Mara's IMDB photos. Only one person on this thread seems to be melting. Morelli is supposed to incite mass appeal. Jason's wrong for the role.

I viewed his photos and didn't like his overall aesthetic for the Morelli role. I then went to youtube to view his work on Life on Mars to see if he looked better on screen than he did in his photos. Although I like him for the Sam role on Life on Mars, I just don't see him in the Morelli role. I'm not saying that Jason is wrong for every single role out there. I'm just saying, Morelli, he's not.

I think where you and I are having our disagreement is over whether or not Jason is sexy. He's sexy to *you*, and that's great. For you. My idea of sexy is different. I like olive skin, dark brown eyes that are so dark brown that they're practically black, three inch long wavy black hair that has a reddish tint in bright sunlight, a broad chest, big arms, and a smile that says, "I'm the guy your mom warned you about." Now *that's* Morelli.
