Dude, can anyone on Earth "handle" crack? It's one of those drugs that's supposedly instantly addictive. There are some things you just don't mess with if you want to keep it fun, at least according to the people I know who are into that shit.
And there are undoubtedly people in his life who've tried to help Magera and failed, and it's not their fault if he refused help. It's his.
I guess I know more people who have done crack and not had their life spiral into the toilet. Doesn't say much for me.

I wouldn't call myself a puritan, but I've had my own issues with alcohol, and my job brings me into regular contact with addicts.
So I've decided that living without alcohol, tobacco, and recreational drugs, leaves me better off in the long run. So that's what I do. You?
No drugs except for coffee and the odd tylenol.
Not interested in fucking around with my brain, it has to last me the rest of my days.
I use crack recreationally, so it can be done. I limit myself to two hits per day, which is just enough to take the edge off and put some pep in my step. On Fridays and Saturdays I allow myself four hits, and then Sunday I do as much as I want. It's my "cheat" day, as they say. The real trick is to end the day with a small hit of heroin. That tamps down the effects of the crack, and lets me get a full night's sleep.
shareI've tried crack, way back when. Met a guy in the bar who was supposed to get us some blow, which we partied on occasionally. I suspect he wanted crack all along, so he took our money planning on getting his preferred drug. Since I paid for it, I said fuck it and tried it. I actually puked my guts out instantly, but the high was pretty amazing for a few minutes. But, it wasn't for me and I had no desire to repeat.

He’s throwing a toxic-ridden temper tantrum, similar to the “I’m going to kill myself or mutilate myself if I don’t get my way,” sadly nothing new from Bam. Hopefully he chooses to get help and takes some personal accountability. He has so many people in his corner willing to help. It’s a shame, the only thing standing in Bam’s way is Bam. I would wager even Knoxville and Tremaine would come back into his life if he asked them for help.
I know I’m not the only one who misses the healthy and creatively brilliant CKY era Bam.

Although I'm far from convinced that he's motivated by real love. I assume that possessiveness, anger at the ex-wife, and addiction also play into this, because in addiction the drugs rewire the brain so the answer to every question becomes "take more drugs!".
And now he's on a 5150 72 hour involuntary psychiatric hold.
