Difficult to work with

I know that being an uptight SJW is trendy right now, but the zeitgeist of the present always amounts to only a blip in time.

2-3 years she will be typecast as a Shannon Doherty. There are no long term prospects for being an ass, no matter how temporarily trendy.

I think the same thing. Marvel is sort of stuck with her, but she has a shit publuc persona. Those actors seem to have a short shelf life.

reply

She has an Oscar. She'll continue to have a career.

Plus, maybe she'll mature.

Jane Fonda used to piss a lot of people off during her youth (not that she was wrong about Vietnam, but she sure could have expressed herself in a less petulant manner). Now she's respected as something of a Hollywood institution.

Mira Sorvino and Renee Zellwegger have Oscars too. Their careers aren’t exactly on fire.

reply

Firstly, they won Oscars in the supporting category.

Secondly, Sorvino's career was destroyed by Harvey Weinstein. It's pretty well-known. And Zellweger didn't do her career any good when she underwent such drastic cosmetic surgery.

reply

Zellwegger’s career was done before her plastic surgery.

Awards don't hold much value now a days.Hillary Swank has won 2 lead actress Oscars. No one sees her much anymore.Oscar or not i think if she isn't careful she'll go the way of Lindsay Lohan,Shia Labouf,Shannon Doherty and Charlie Sheen.Nobody likes working with unpleasant people.

reply

Awards have always been meaningless but people respect trophies for some reason. I think she'll grow out of her attitude and into the role of diva actress. After a few years of being worshiped she won't even remember her old life and what she had a bug up her ass about.
