Hasn't she always just gone by Jewel? When did she start using her last name professionally?

She doesn’t use her last name professionally. I suspect either IMDB did it on their own or one of the movies or TV shows she was a cast member of tacked on the Kilcher in the credits prompting IMDB to do so.
