Why didn't Moira Kelly have a bigger career?

The only thing most people know her from was The Cutting Edge (1992). She was absolutely perfect in the role, but none of her other work made any kind of mark culturally.

For me it was One Tree Hill, kind of late in her career. She is more a support actress than a lead.

That happens to a lot of actors. They impress in a role or two, seem to be on their way up, but their careers never really take off. It's a tough, fickle business.
