This guy is actually a really good actor.

Even in The Office with that comedic role he shone. And I've just watched him completely elevate a scene in the lightweight, BBC filler comedy Goodnight Sweetheart.

It was funny to see him in a serious role in The First Omen but it was still hardly a breakout role for him.

But, like I said, I think he's got something about him and I'm sure will land up being lauded for a serious role in some drama at some point in the future...

Yes, he's come a long way since The Office. I wasn't bowled over by The First Omen but it was nice to see Ineson featured so prominently. He's becoming one of those guys who seems to turn up in almost everything.

Yeah, The First Omen wasn't the best. Took too many liberties in retconning the background from the first film. But then, it wasn't altogether terrible either.

Talking of "turning up in almost everything", after posting this I looked up his upcoming films and it seems that he he is going to be Galactus in the next Fantastic Four film! So he's even hit the MCU now...

I always like to see him pop up in the most unexpected places. He often plays small roles but always makes an impression. I say the same thing as you - It's Finchy!

Also, considering he is from Leeds, West Yorkshire his accents are pretty decent.

I think he had an Irish accent in The first Omen, and an American one in Ready Player One.

He also did an awful lot of TV work early in his career, but seems to be transitioning to movies of late.
