Rachel - It's quite sad when a celebrity acts so rudely towards a fan

My wife went up to her on the street in St. Kilda a suburb of Melbourne in Australia and asked if she could please have a photo (as my wife loves some of her films) her response was just a "NO!" and as she was walking off had the guile to face back and yell out "next time introduce yourself".

If that's not someone caught up in their own self worth I am not sure what is!

Sad as a celebrity taking a photo with a fan who has in no way been rude seems like a pretty easy thing to do.

Rachel I hope one day you read this and just think about the way you treat a fan next time, as a "famous" actress sadly you may get them from time to time and the way you treat them should be with at least a tiny bit of respect.

See this is the problem.... You are so completely absorbed with YOURself and by your idea of what YOUR self-worth is and deserves that you completely fail to see that actor are people, too, not trained monkeys.

How would you feel if an overexcited stranger came rushing up on you asking forcefully that they take a picture of you or you write your name down?! I don't know about you but it would freak me the hell out & make me rush/run away! If possible, I'd grab a police officer to protect me.

God, think about it from another person's perspective. And, it would help immensely not to believe others owe you something bc no one does.

Your wife asked and was told No - too bad. If I asked your wife for $1,000 and said No, does that make her... Rude? And if I wrote about your wife's refusal in the newspaper, who sounds like the unreasonable fool?
