Hate it when he's referred to as...

Iñárritu.

That's his second last name. It's like referring to Courtney Cox-Arquette as "Arquette". For instance, it shouldn't read "Iñárritu directed Amores Perros", but "González directed Amores Perros"

"I am God's lonely man."

On the poster of Biutiful it says 'A film by Inarritu'. I'm not sure about your comparison either. Are you saying Inarritu is his wife's name or something?

reply

Yah, my example was wrong. Iñárritu is his mother's last name.

"I am God's lonely man."

If I got say it I usually use both names...Not wrong, right? :D

reply

Of course not, but if you're gonna use only one of your last names, it should be your first last name, am I right?

"I am God's lonely man."
