OP was asking about movies directed by him, but after you mentioned it... Dredd is my favorite, although, on objective grounds, Ex Machine is better.
The guy is hit or miss. I think he overestimates his ability to weave a complex story.
It's been argued that his contributions merited a co-director credit, and Karl Urban even came out and said that it should have been considered his directorial debut. But all this is hearsay, so who knows!
Yeah. Overestimation is a good way to put it. I agree. I think he definitely overestimated his writing ability when he made Men; I don't think he knew what he was doing there in constructing the narrative.

"Directed," so Dredd *would* have been my #1, Sunshine in the 6-7/10 range and the 28s around 7/10 if he had directed them. "Films," just noticed the show Devs and looks interesting.
1. Annihilation (2018) 8/10 - one of my favorite cosmic horror films. Has held up well to multiple viewings.

Update: I saw Civil War today. I would rank it 4th with a 7/10.
