I don't really have a favorite, but back when vinyl records and 45's were still popular I put a stack of 45rpm singles on my record player to listen to when I went to sleep. My player got jammed up and didn't drop the next 45, and I listened to Duran Duran's "The Reflex" like 103 times in a row while I slept!

Favorite video: Duran Duran: Girls on Film https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6666692/
Can't even find the uncensored 6m version anymore! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCjMZMxNr-0
Remember when that video was banned, its tame by todays standards.

Save A Prayer
The Chauffeur
The "Rio" album was amazing. Very good musicians with an 80s look that made the girls crazy.
I have a special place in my heart for the song "The Chauffeur". I was having a bad trip at the time and a sweet angel took my hand and led me to a room with fluffy pillows and beautiful lights. "The Chauffeur" was playing and I kissed the sky.

haha, that's a good memory to share!
Rio was the first album I bought and the brilliance of The Chauffeur stood out from the very begining.

Man they had alot of good songs but I have to say The Chauffeur is a masterpiece and I am kinda surprised that so many others appreciate it as well given all of their pop hits. Also Save A Prayer, The Union of The Snake, A View to a Kill, Is There Something I Should Know, New Moon on Monday and The Seventh Stranger. I used to listen to the first 3 albums over and over again.
I can repeat every note of "Rio". Great band. I'm a bassist so of course I was drawn to John Taylor.
shareTrue story! She saved my life. I still keep in touch. The separation between death and bliss is razor thin at times.
I really loved "Berlin" back then also. I met Terri Nunn in a record store where I was working at the time. She was so cool. My cousin worked at the same mall and she waited until he could come over so she could meet him and sign some autographs.
Living in L.A. at the time afforded me some great moments.
Riding on the Metro is a great song.
shareYep. "Berlin" was another band that was amazing in the early 80s. Very good musicians.
