So what if she is? No one here relates him/herself to her in any way other than as an actress; and, as an actress/artist, she is exempted from what is known as the Original Fallacy in formal art criticism. The Original Fallacy states that the origin of (in this case, the performance) artwork has NO BEARING AT ALL on our assessment of the work itself. The ONLY THING that matters is the work itself. Similarwise, in formal debate, there is the discredited tactic of argument ad hominem, or argument to the person, meaning that, because the argument is presented by a “bad” person, the argument is invalid. Unfortunately for the logically lazy and the agenda-driven zealots, a creator’s background cannot be considered in an assessment of the creator’s creations. I know that doesn’t sound like what you would call “common sense,” and what I call “good sense” (because good sense stopped being common about a decade ago). That is why these conclusions are FORMAL, and not POPULAR.
