He gave the most pitiful performance as Superman/CK

No wonder why the studio gave up on him. His performance as Superman was so one-dimensional. Being mopey would be his only character trait. His acting was as wooden as cardboard. Who wants a mopey weak, lead character to carry a movie ESPECIALLY SUPERMAN? Don't give the excuse "Oh he didn't have much to work with!" Come on, he had 3 1/2 movies to perfect his performance. Blame should be put on the director/actor for "not having much to work with". Superman deserves BETTER than this!

Time for a full reboot of the character and film series.

Its true though, his acting was terrible, looked the part and thats it , thats why the dceu failed and churned out shitty movie after shitty movie, you would agree if you werent such a dceu dick riding pleb.

We'll never really know what he could have done with the role. We never got to really see him be Superman and just interact in the world. As soon as he's established, it's just end of the world apocalypse showdown crisis hour all over the place. Wasn't much room for witty banter and fine speeches. And if Snyder got to continue his vision, that problem would have only gotten worse.
