Any problem between Matt Bomer and Ryan Murphy?

Matt has habit of promoting work of his close friends on twitter. Specially for Ryan Murphy. Last year he did for Scream Queens and The American Crime Story even though he was not part of either those shows.

He always promotes work of his lesser known friends and big stars(e.g Ryan Gosling).

However this year was different.

He didn't promote Ryan Murphy's Scream queen season 2 or American Horror Story on twitter .But he did for Magnificent Seven.

For scream Queens, I can somewhat understand since Matt is not part of it. But he is part of American Horror story (even for few episodes).

Why is that? Is he pissed that Ryan always overlooks him?

Finn Wintrock which had very small role in The Normal Heart and was literally unknown till 2014. But in season 4 of AHS, Murphy gave him very strong role and made him star.

While Matt got a very tepid guest role.

In season 5, almost every regular star cast from Kathy Bates to Dennis o hare, Angella Basset, Sarah Paulson, Lady gaga, Chole Soveginy , Evan Peter, Wes Bently, Fin Winntrock got good and decent rolea

Only Matt and Cheyenne Jackson got weak roles.

I can understand for Jackson since he is not friends with Murphy. But what about Matt?

Why he always get shortchanged? Yes Normal heart was great role but that role was already written by Larry Kramer. Murphy didn't rewrote it.

But when Murphy writes his own shows then why he gives Matt such lame roles(Glee, New Normal, AHS Season 4, AHS Season 5)?

It is really frustrating.

Do you also think that Matt Bomer is slightly pissed at Murphy ?

Sorry for my long rant

Beautifully written and insightful. The writers of TLT have 4 months to write season one.

I have always liked the complex characters written by F Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams. Social commentary on the foibles of human nature set to the backdrop of the first half of the last century.

I see Matt redoing Paul Newman's role in 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof'. That combo of Paul and Liz could sizzle, better exploring Brick's conflict with his homosexuality and society's view on it at that time.

Anyone else see Matt recreating great characters from great films?
