Trump's victory is all on Joe Biden

He should have stepped down earlier so that there was more time to pick a better candidate than Kamala Harris.

Trump can safely say thanks, Biden!

He nominated her on purpose so they couldn't have a Primary to allow others to participate choosing the next candidate and he did so as a Middle finger to the Party for forcing him out and now, basically, nothing has been accomplished on the part of the Democrats because they lost anyway, so perhaps if they had left Biden in, he might've won, but even if he didn't?? He would've left Office with Dignity instead of always having an Asterisk next to his Legacy now that he couldn't even finish a 1st Term

Only good thing he ever did.

His egotism and arrogance will cost him personally, not just his party. Cognitive issues aside, has Joe Biden forgotten that Trump and the Republicans convinced a third of the country that he's a cannibalistic pedophile? And Trump has already spoken aloud about 'military tribunals' like it's friggin Nuremberg.

In hindsight, you could come up with a dozen reasons why they lost. I just wasn't expecting it to be such a blowout.

I think the real problem for the dems is not so much that they lost this election, but rather, they are seriously losing ground with young voters and future young voters. A lot them are just not feeling the woke movement. Somehow, Trump has become like a "rebel president" in their eyes and it's resonating with young people more than the left realizes.

But anyhow, Trump used social media to win this election. While Kamala's team knocked on doors and spent a fortune on TV ads, Trump's team heavily used media outlets to gain votes. It was just a better strategy than what the dems did.

The big question is, how do you spend a billion dollars and lose an election?? Well, we saw it happen. Trump campaign knew they couldn't out spend'em so they used the next best thing, the media and I kind of think that's why she lost.

Regardless, here's an article on how much of a difference young voters made in 2024 -

I don't think he had much control.

He was obviously sick for years and it was his administration that was actually president.

I don't care about political figures but find politics interesting. I thought it sad that he wanted to be president since the 90s and when he finally got there was too sick to enjoy it.

If the shoe was on the other foot, no one would ask Trump to step down especially his VP or a celebrity or senators or anybody no matter how cognitively impaired he was or is already. Good luck with congress who has the authority to declare the incapacitation - it would never happen. The disloyalty alone would be considered criminal. So quit blaming Biden. The truth is the dems don’t really have anybody. They only had him. It was et tu, Brute all the way with them. They kicked him to the curb. Trump says essentially the same thing. “He had the right to run and his party took it away.” And what Pelosi is now doing and others saying the same - on this post too - is disgusting. How many people already in office have to retire to give Harris a chance for a viable job.
