At this point, yes. Nothing is grounded or set in stone until after the inauguration, and even then, consider it a flow of wind until 2024. So many things can occur between now and January 21st.
shareIf ANY politician in American history can do it, it is Trump. I'd say there is a substantial chance of it coming to pass. You can sense it in the tone of the Liberal news articles.
shareUnfortunately it's not going to happen, but if it does, hunker down for leftist rioting on an apocalyptic level.
shareCan't imagine why a group would become upset at Trump trying to steal an election and remain in power when he has lost.
shareConservatives will be upset when Biden's keepers eventually succeed in stealing the election that he would have lost if it had been conducted honestly. There will be some very sarcastic bumper stickers, but there won't be rioting, arson, vandalism, looting, and assault.
shareYeah, we've only had to stop one group from trying to kidnap a sitting governor and potentially killing her, I'm sure none of the other right-sided crazies who truly think this election was stolen are planning on doing anything.
shareTrumps already donning a WHITE colored MAGA Hat. That should tell you all that you need to know.
shareIt would be history's most delightful fakeout to watch, where these fools were celebrating a false victory, and then discover they were wrong and their "nightmare" is still going on, lol. Can you imagine the heads exploding this time around?
shareIt would be quite the trick. It would also mean that the USA had effectively turned into an autocracy and the end of democracy. But maybe it's only natural to have such a period.
I wish you good luck.
Cant wait for that to happen
shareWhat would it take? Well all Trump would really need to do is round up enough electoral college voters that were supposed to vote for Bidden and bribe them to vote for him instead. Everyone has a price, and even he was exposed after the fact the republican majority of the senate would shield him from any impeachment. One could argue that it might be a good thing to have happen as it might result in a change in the way elections are held in this country. I mean why do we vote on people that no one really knows to go decide who will become the next President. I would be shocked if you could find anyone that wasn't either related to the person that knew who the electoral college members were from their state. Yes they list them on the ballot but if they didn't have Trump or Bidden's name above their name you wouldn't have a fucking clue who you were voting for.
shareCertainly. A natural order. Has been the normal way of doing things for millennia so why not? Besides, Americans are quite used to survival of the fittest anyway, certainly in comparison to other western nations. It will, however, mean less safety for the majority concerning consumer goods and things like producer liability (why hinder production with labour- and safety laws?, The free market will sort out who makes acceptable food and sturdy ladders!) Also, social mobility will take a dive ( opportunities go out to people in an existing social network). Are you financially independent?
Financially independent enough to survive, but to thrive I still need to make more... then again doesn't everyone except the richest of the rich have to make more to really thrive?
shareVery likely. That's why I like a more socialist society with fairly high taxes, good roads, affordable and high quality healthcare for all and consumer and labour protection with plenty of free time. I understand that's not the dream for many Americans, who want to be able to make it on their own completely unhindered by limits from a government.
However, Trump is going for a defacto dictatorship with unchecked capitalism. That's a very limiting factor to your chances.of making it big. Big corporations will waltz over small ones unhindered under his system.
With socialism, nobody has a chance of making it big. It leads only to misery and squalor. And no, Scandinavian countries are not examples of socialism.
shareYes, pure socialism isn't good at all. But a more socialist society than raw capitalism is. Look at Western Europe: Germany, BeNeLux, Scandinavia. They have a lot more socialist society than the US and their quality of life for citizens is stellar. I'm talking about middle ground, not taking either capitalism, government intervention or socialism to extremes.
shareAs much as I want this, I think I’ll buy stock in Kleenex and Prozac as the liberals will need/want both if JFK’s and FDR’s ballots reveal themselves.....
