He would have been 100.
And he was doinking Barbara Eden in her prime. They should have made a statue of (him).
I think my favorite scene with him is in a minor role in an Alfred Hitchcock episode “Shopping for Death” based on a Ray Bradbury story. He plays a butcher and the main character (Jo Van Fleet) who is an extremely irascible woman comes in to his shop and starts complaining about everything. The expression on his face while he momentarily contemplates killing her with the meat cleaver is priceless.
I wonder if he was ever up for the role of Khan in Star Trek.
I like Ansara, but he didn't have what Montoban had.
