Her looks are starting to fade

Sad

Funny you say that - I said the exact same thing to myself when I watched "The Woman in the Window"

reply

That's too bad.

In his Playboy Magazine interview, Clint Eastwood was asked how he felt about getting older. Clint said, “I love it! Now I can play roles I was too young to play before.”

An example of why Clint Eastwood is who he is.

It’s always struck me as odd when older actresses complain about being cast as mothers/grandmothers etc. do they still expect to play high school girls?

reply

I agree with you there, go figure. Even some actors complain. Nobody stays young forever.

reply

There's been plenty of cases when actors and actresses have been cast in roles they are just not the right age for, sometimes playing opposite actors/actresses who are much younger or look much younger even though we are meant to believe they are a similar age. I think it's a case of complaining for the sake of their egos and trying to make some kind of Feminist statement when it's just a case of reality.

reply

I think some want the sexy older roles like Rose on Golden Girls, or Mona on Who's The Boss, versus playing a wise matriarch or nun. I am assuming those kind of roles are in limited quantity.

Her looks were already fading back in 2009, she hideous and chunky

reply

Never found her all that, looks-wise.

reply

She has very pale skin which won’t do well in the sun.

reply

It happens even to the best of us. It will happen to you, too.
