Latinx is just the gender neutral English term. Spanish has masculine and feminine endings - Latina for females and Latino for males. Latinx is just a way to make a general statement for both sexes. It's really not woke, just practical.

The biggest difference seems to be that PC means avoiding terms or policies that could "offend", while woke means being aware of "social inequalities". So there you go.
