Well…
…at least he tried. And a young guy not being able to knock out an old timer is a win unto itself. Mike will always be a champion to me, especially for slapping that fucking twat during the weigh-in.

shareI'd love to *try* attach such significance to something so insignificant
...but that was terrible.
Regardless of (whatever) money earned...that was abysmal (for both parties)
I didn't watch the fight as it was too late. Did he embarras himself?
shareIt was one huge 'meh' burger, that (money aside) benefited neither party.
Tyson especially.
Broke my heart (it did)
Tyson was clearly not in boxing shape, and gassed out pretty early. He was fighting fatigue more than anything else, and for a second it looked like he wasn’t going to get up for the final round.
But Jake Paul didn’t really do much to hurt him. He looked in shape, and fresher, and he was more active, the score cards were pretty 1 sided, but it wasn’t much of a fight. No one one got rocked, no one was in trouble. Just a lot of dancing.
Iron Mike started strong; won the first two rounds. I watched it at a sports bar and everyone (it seemed) was cheering for him.
shareHe's like 60 and spent like 12 years in prison.
shareHe got paid and I think that's all he cared about.
This was the last nail in the coffin of boxing. a 60 year old who blew his money his money on drugs and tigers fights generic hair tattooed wigger, rigged or not, it was a disgrace.
