He no longer is boycotting Bud Light.

Kid Rock Calls Off Bud Light Boycott That He Didn’t Actually Follow

Kid Rock is ready to move on from boycotting Bud Light ― or, more accurately, pretending to do so ― saying the company “made a mistake” in partnering with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney earlier this year but “I think they got the message.”

“Do I want to hold their head underwater and drown them because they made a mistake? No. I think they got the message. Hopefully, other companies get it, too. But at the end of the day I don’t think the punishment that they’ve been getting at this point fits the crime,” he said elsewhere in the interview.

It was just a way for him to get some attention.

He got cut a check for sure. Bud's been throwing a ton of money at this problem. The trouble is: it's a total trash beer that was pretty easy to drop in the first place. It's always been a house of cards held together by marketing. It's not a product there's any demand for. It's some of the biggest foolishness i've ever seen a major company do and i'm wanna see em go under for it.

reply

If there was no demand for the beer, then why did it sell so well, compared to most other beers, during and after the boycott? Why is Bud Light still #2 in the country? That means millions of can are still being sold. Why do you think there is no demand for Bud Light any more?

100 percent marketing and great commercials. Even now I want one cause Peyton Manning is throwing them around like footballs in a bar. It's cool.

reply

So now you're saying there is heavy demand for Bud Light?

No thanks. Isn't Bud Light the "water of beers"?
