Don't judge the past comic book movies based on current movies. Those Brian Singer directed pieces are actually quite good.

He was good in both roles, but I loved him best as Gandalf :D.

Gandalf for me though I do enjoy his portrayal of Magneto.

He's great at both, though they are very different characters. I think I'll say Gandalf is my favorite of the two. He was perfect for the part.
