Still Surprised

I don't have any problems with him as an actor. He's fine if he has someone pushing him and is working with good people. But I'm still surprised that out of all the people on Buffy, he went on to be on TV for so damn long. I mean Hannigan was no surprise. But jeez, I sure never expected DB to still be on TV in 2014.

I don't think that he missed his window of opportunity. Batman was never an issue. Chris Nolan wanted Bale from the beginning, so DB was never offered the part. What surprises me is that Joss Whedon didn't consider him for The Avengers. After all, Joss knew what David can do and he had some characters to cast. Anyway, it's not too late. He's younger than Robert Downey Jr, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Will Smith etc, and they all still do action movies. There will be an Avengers 2, or other movies, if he is interested. He seems to be phasing out from Bones, so I assume he has some other projects lined up. I'm sure he will get his big break this time.
