Still Surprised

I don't have any problems with him as an actor. He's fine if he has someone pushing him and is working with good people. But I'm still surprised that out of all the people on Buffy, he went on to be on TV for so damn long. I mean Hannigan was no surprise. But jeez, I sure never expected DB to still be on TV in 2014.

Your joking right? DB practically carried BTVS and when he left the show's ratings went to sh!t coincidence? Even SMG knew that would happen which is why she was and still is beyond pissed off not to mention upset when Buffy and Angel broke up.

reply

I wish he were starring in movies now instead. The guy is absolutely amazing.

I think David is a good actor, but he's nothing really special. Absolutely amazing is a big stretch IMO. I think he has a better chance continuing his career in direction.

reply

Nah I think he's absolutely amazing. The way he played the Angelous/Angel character on the Angel and Buffy show really showed me he has a lot of charisma in him.

I have no doubt he'd be an A list star right now if he'd taken that lead role in Batman Begins back in 2005.

reply

The problem was David was never offered it to begin with.

Like you I also feel that David would of and should of been an A list star but unfortunately he missed his window of opportunity which was between 98-01 when he was at his peak as far as being in popular demand goes.

reply

David himself confirmed that it was false and that it was a rumour put out there by his manager Tom.

Do you have a link to such words he said? no offense but I can't just accept that he said this just because you said he did.
