Favourite John Williams Soundtrack and Favourite Soundtrack of all time!

My favourite Williams OST has gotta be The Patriot, which is also my favourite OST of all time. Should have gotten an Oscar for that.

How has he not earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but people like Orlando Bloom or Kaley Cuoco have? I guess that is another thread topic.

I can't really pick a favourite, but one that I think often gets overlooked is Amistad.

For his non film music, I really like his Concerto for Tuba and Orchestra.

Favourite? I can not choose just one, so:
The Empire strikes back
ET
Indiana Jones and the last crusade
The Patriot
The return of the Jedi
The prisioner of Azkaban
The Force awakens (the Jedi steps)

Star Wars all the way for me, with Superman in second place.

I just learned today that when he was an unknown going by Johnny Williams at the age of 26 that he played the piano on the original Peter Gunn theme back in the late 1950s. Henry Mancini was the composer.

My favorite John Williams composition is a short orchestral-choral piece from the score to "Empire of the Sun", called "Exsultate Justi".

Close Enounters
The Last Crusade

Braveheart

I would go for Return of the Jedi - as mentioned before - adds nice new themes - I like especially the emperor's theme with choir.

I would be interested in some minor known soundtracks by J.Williams (any suggestions?)

for my favourite Soundtrack I would go with Edward Scissorhands by Elfman.

Without a doubt it would have to be either E.T., Close Encounters or Shindlers List for me. Those are absolute classics that I listen to a lot.
