She wasn't the only A-List female celebrity who was friends with Harvey, knew all about how he treated aspiring actresses low on the Hollywood Food Chain, and did nothing to help them at all. Meryl Streep was another on that list. None of the A-listers cared one bit because they didn't give a shit about how low-level actresses (and sometimes actors) were treated once they got up to the elite club, and until the 2017 news article outed him, he was very popular and highly sought after in Tinseltown because he could make anyone's career take off, even people with middling or low talent.
I always felt something wasn't right about Oprah. Something about the way she spoke during her interviews felt fake to me, like she was only pretending to care about the women on her show. It turns out, I was right, that she was a big fat phony like the rest of them, as well as a hypocrite. She's just another case of someone from an oppressed class working hard on her way up the ladder in Hollyweird, and then kicking out the ladder under her once she made it to the top.
There's a reason that people started calling out women like her as the MeToo movement took up momentum, demanding to know why she would suddenly speak up now and pretend like she cared, when she and other A-list female celebrities had done nothing for decades.
