The Patrick Swayze effect - I didn't realize he was dead

I didn't realize Roy Scheider was dead until I just visited this board today, Feb 15, 2023, when I saw him trending for an unrelated post.

He died 15 years ago and I had no idea. The same phenomenon occurred with me when I learned of Patrick Swayze's death many years after the fact.

A lot of actors died that you probably didn't realize

Lance Reddick

I was aware of Ray and Lance when they happened.

I'm not familiar with Anton, so that wouldn't have been notable to me anyway.
