Sexual abuse?

We've been hearing some horrible stories coming from Hollywood lately.

reply

Absolutely not!

reply

Okay, but why exactly are you so adamant about that?

Seems to be people trying to take advantage of the current climate. I didn't think her death was all the mysterious, since the hospital and coroner said it was the same thing. This had to have been somewhat checked into because their was a lawsuit because of misdiagnose.

reply

The thing is that her manager first said she died of influenza. Then the hospital announced that the cause was acute bowel obstruction. Seems a world of difference. Sure, she could very well have been born with intestinal stenosis, but abdominal problems are also very common among children who are abused.

reply

I think the coroner would have been able to tell if this was a condition she had or it was caused by some kind of outside force. I could be wrong, but I would lean towards doctors that dealt with her in the final moments and the coroner over a dodgy web posting.

reply

The doctors said she died of bowel obstruction, which would be correct in either case. I think the idea is that the doctors are staying quiet about their suspicions.

reply

She died because her doctor misdiagnosed her. He thought she had the flu or similar illness instead of septis.

reply

No, the doctors thought she had Crohn's disease and she was apparently treated for that. The disease she's supposed have died of was stenosis. Septis was the direct cause. I know what the story is, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's true. They eventually settled out of court.

reply

I was going by the initial radio and TV reports I had heard at the time announcing her death. I remember that the doctors misdiagnosed her with the flu and I think they sent her home, but she had sepsis caused by a bowel obstruction. The time delay caused the toxins to build up in her body eventually killing her.

Crohn's disease and other information probably came out later. It's very sad considering how young she was. To this day, I've never been able to rewatch Poltergeist.

reply

There is no treatment for Cohrn’s disease.

I was a candidate for that diagnosis. I tested negative. Like Cohrn’s, I can never be cured, but I can be managed.

reply

I knew a woman who was a Crone. There was no cure and she could not be managed.

reply

"There was no cure"

True, but there are definitely treatments and Heather was being treated for her condition.

reply

Cure is not the same as treatment.🙄

reply

Had she had the stenosis from birth as the doctors claimed, then don't you think that she would have certainly experienced digestive problems all of her life, not just in 1987?

reply

She died because of doctors malpractice since they didn't diagnose her with septic shock which is what killed her.

reply

always figured Spielberg for a dirtbag

reply

Even if these allegations are true, why would you assume Spielberg was the culprit over any other person she worked with? As far as I can tell, their only mutual project was 1982's Poltergeist, a full five years before her death. Where is the evidence had kept in close contact with her after that film?

reply

No, why would you even think that?

reply

Uhm, did you even read the link and many of the abuse stories coming out of Hollywood?

reply

Spielberg never seems to be that kind of a guy!

reply

I don't think this blind item necessarily suggests Spielberg molested her. Although he has been mentioned in several other items throughout the years, just like Spacey and Singer.

reply

Over these past three years, just how many criminal cases have successfully been brought against Kevin Spacey? The one that fell apart in New England doesn't count. What do you have to go on, conspiracy theorist?

reply

Lol, conspiracy theorist? Spacey pretty much acknowledged he behaved inappropriately with Anthony Rapp.

reply

[deleted]

Again, "Spacey pretty much acknowledged he behaved inappropriately with Anthony Rapp".

And no, he didn't accuse him of "groping him at a drunken cast party".

reply

If you are a skeptic then you shouldn't post stuff like this until you have verified it with a reputable source.
Read the fine print, it's garbage ...

CRAZY DAYS AND NIGHTS IS A GOSSIP SITE. THE SITE PUBLISHES RUMORS, CONJECTURE, AND FICTION. IN ADDITION TO ACCURATELY REPORTED INFORMATION, CERTAIN SITUATIONS, CHARACTERS AND EVENTS PORTRAYED IN THE BLOG ARE EITHER PRODUCTS OF THE AUTHOR’S IMAGINATION OR ARE USED FICTITIOUSLY.

reply

I can post whatever the hell I want. I didn't sell it as the truth. As for the credibility of the site, they have posted stories that turned out to be true. See Weinstein and Spacey.

The site needs that disclaimer to avoid being sued.

reply

You "can" post whatever you want if you don't mind looking gullible and foolish.

reply

Nope, you're the one looking like a fool and a complete douche.

It's not like no one has ever posted rumours before. I'd like to stress again that I didn't sell this story as the truth.

I wish I had posted those blind items about Spacey and Weinstein before the news broke!

reply

Like I said, it's about how you want to be perceived. You can be mad and call me names all you want but I'm just telling you the truth.

reply

Buddy, you're the one calling me names and getting all worked up about a simple post. I'm not mad, I'm just telling YOU the truth. If you want to be perceived as a fool and a douche, then keep it up, you're doing a great job...

reply

Pneumonia i heard
Sad and tragic and tear-inducing for sure
Cute kid...very sad
But this guy and his blog can piss off
Band-wagon jumping and pathetic
That kid was great...too young
Just natural and sad causes

reply

No, it wasn't pneumonia. The official cause of death was cardiac arrest caused by septic shock brought on by intestinal stenosis. Very sad. She was pretty ill at the end of her life.

reply

so horrible
Still makes me sad

reply

theres simply no evidence for this terrible claim Strat
You know youre my freind but its just some dumbass blogger moron...dont be silly
Poor kid died is all...

reply

I'm not saying this specific blind is true, but the site has been correct about many of them (like Weinstein, Spacey, Corey Feldman's accusations), so I'm simply wondering. It's no secret pedophiles are active in Hollywood.

reply

I do believe there are horrible bastards in Hollywood who have harmed kids...the law needs to get at them

reply

And now we have Corey Haim's mother naming one of his alleged abusers. I wish she had done something when he told her about it.

reply

Horrible story...Assaults on adults are terrible and the law needs to punish the abusers but the pedo stuff is a whole other level...really boils the blood
Its astonishing that it gets ignored
Simply disgusting

reply

What's truly disgusting is that pedo's like Victor Salva were able to return to Hollywood even after being convicted of child molestation.

reply

Right!?!
Polanski is another dirtbag who got away from justice
He continues to direct, earn money and dwells in a beautful, secluded chalet...
Pathetic really...

reply

Yeah, never understood why the authorities here in Europe have been so easy on this criminal on the run who refused to face justice.

reply

Who knows...
'Leaders' here in the US arent any better in terms of doing the right thing...as you stated pervs still have careers here in the 'states...
Pretty bad all around:(

reply

Right, that's why I'm concerned when I hear stories like this one.

reply

something stinks here

reply

Indeed!
It aint the OP though...shes pretty cool
Its this stupid blogger guy
Just ignore it
Total bullshit

reply

could be fan fiction, but makes a compelling story

reply

The little kid just died
Lets just let it be

reply

Most likely the story does come from Devon Odessa, but who knows if what she says is true. She does have a past of being an addict.

This blogger also adds a lot of nonsense to avoid being sued, so there's no telling how much of this blind is true.
