Denis always plays Denis. I'm watching 'the Job' - his short-lived cop series twenty 23-minute episodes long - and it's great.
apparently it came out during the same time as 'rescue me' and the execs went with RM - despite the fact that this show is way better. Truth being, I tried Rescue Me and thought it was crap.

Give 'the job' a try - you might be pleasantly surprised - legit laughs in this one.
