More than just a bitch

I know this woman died of Cancer but I still have a few words. I did some reading on her and she tried to run over her fiance with her car and shoot him with a gun in the early 90's. She got fired from not one but two television series for uncooperative and bizarre behavior. She slept with a married man and broke up a marriage in the 2000's (Julian McMahon).

She was more than just a bitch, she was perhaps a psychopath. Who acts like this? Jennifer Lopez for example was/ is a bitch/diva but not a psychopath. There was something very wrong with Shannon Doherty. I'm not saying she deserved her cancer and to die but the woman made bad choices and did horrible things. And it appears she got 'punished' somehow.

Don't know about the relationship stuff, but she certainly did have a reputation for being a pain in the ass to work with.

Kevin Smith also has some words about her during the filming of Mallrats, though he was trying to welcome her back for a sequel.

I can't say she's someone I consider a classic actor, but she definitely has a history.

I hope you aren’t saying she deserved her cancer….because that would be nuts.

Still sad for her to die so young from such a disease.

Let her poor soul rest in peace. Shannen Doherty was hated by many people for no reason. It was a similar situation to what happens to other women in show business (or even politics) these days... They are expected to adhere to higher standards than their male counterparts for no reason.

From what I remember, it was other women that got into her marriage. Regardless, she didn't do anything worse than for instance, Britney Spears did as well. She also never spoke badly of anyone that she worked with or did anything that could be called bizarre behavior. The proof that it was all media garbage is that the same person who supposedly fired her, gave her another starring role a few years later, with a better deal where she kept making money even after she left that show.

Listen to her podcasts with her 'Beverly Hills 90210' costars and then give an opinion this harsh about someone who was also loved by a lot of people.

What a tasteless, classless, post. It sounds like your 'reading' takes place whilst in line at Walmart.
