I've noticed him all along, and he does a good job at certain things, but he is mostly visual and not so much acting chops -- limited range.

Saving an elite few, can’t most people say that about their careers?

I guess so. He just strikes me as somebody who should have had a bigger career.

I believe after 2000 he bought a bunch of land in upstate NY and kind of spent a lot of time there taking roles to pay the bills.

At that point he'd done a lot of his best work

Probably does a lot of theatre and is more interested in the craft than being a movie star.

He is great in the things I've seen him in but he has an unique look that can only get him limited roles.
