Just found this board!!

Hi I've been a JP fan for some time now and it's good to find somewhere to discuss his numerous talents!! Yes, I think he's gorgeous, he has an incredible voice and is one of the best actors of his generation!! My favourite film - arrgh, I hate choosing favourites - is probably Carrington as his performance is amazing but I also love Brazil! Jonathan is so versatile and just becomes the character that he's playing that most people don't recognise him as the same actor!!
I think Unconditional Love is a strange film but it's funny and the more I watch it the more I like it. Jonathan once again gives a 100% performance and is obviously enjoying himself playing Victor. I was looking forward to there being a soundtrack but sadly it looks as though it's not to be :(

I've been lucky enough to meet Jonathan and I agree with Fiorenze (sorry if I've spelt that wrongly) that he is a very gentle and pleasant man with no 'celebrity' air about him. I think he enjoys his 'anonymity' and doesn't want the problems that film star status brings - he can walk round London without people spotting him and that probably suits him!!

He has his fans and we KNOW he's 'Sir' Pryce :)

hope I haven't waffled too much.....

I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather Carol; it's so sad to see people get old and ill. My mom has Parkinson's Disease and is slowly losing her ability to walk and often has times when she can't communicate so I found the film painful in parts but it was lightened with such lovely gentle humour that I didn't dwell on the sad side of things. I actually cried when I first watched the film, which is most unusual for me especially as I was in a cinema and not tucked away in the privacy of my own home!
yes I've seen Behind the Lines (or Regeneration as it's called over here) - it's an amazing film that kept me rapt for the whole movie! I can't bring myself to watch it too often as it's such a harrowing story but I agree that Jonathan's role was very intense, I wonder how it leaves him feeling after he's performed something like that!!

I am an habitual hoarder but I think your husband's tractor purchase is quite something - where is he going to keep it? My eldest son had a fancy for tractors when he was three; maybe it's something men just don't grow out of! Alex, my son, is just buying himself a Landrover (4x4) and it's all we hear about :)
No, I don't have a nicola so not guilty!!

Oh, here we go again, I have 'can't smile without you' stuck in my mind so the whole household will have to suffer my singing for the rest of the day...
