His performances as Alfred wouldn't even be in my top 10. Alfie, on the other hand, is in there somewhere. I'm especially fond of his three Harry Palmer films, especially The Ipcress File. He's great in Sleuth, The Italian Job, Get Carter, and in his later years, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was a great outing for him. I haven't cared as much for his work since then, though he's always a great addition to a film.
shareMy top 3 are Alfie from 'Alfie', Milo Tindolini from 'Sleuth', and Harry Brown from 'Harry Brown' but he's been great in a lot of movies.
