Okay, that's a very good setup. It's a fine punchline. I think the only thing missing is you need to stick a shaggy dog story somewhere in the middle, and then lose the setup and punchline, and you'll be the next Norm MacDonald!

I hate that dude so much, even before the Rust shooting. Alec's narcissism and arrogance (and lack of self-awareness and tact) is off-the-charts. At least I've never heard Will Smith call Jaden or Willow "rude, thoughtless pigs" like Alec and his eldest child. So Alec Baldwin is the last person who should be throwing stones at glasses houses.

I can't stand Baldwin because he's a smug asshole, but in this case he didn't shoot those people out of malice. He shot them because of stupidity.
