Is his career over?
Even if it was accidental, the murder will follow him to his grave.
shareso long as hes cleared of any wrongdoing maybe the film will be completed ...ironically the film will have all the extra publicity it would never have got as everyone now knows Baldwin was shooting a western and be interested in watching it. and aside being tainted (cancelled?) by this tragedy its possible Baldwin will not suffer any career problems . has he even got much of a film career now anyway aside small movies like this? his MI character was killed off. most big names of yesteryear just do small stdvd action stuff now unless they get called up to be in superhero stuff, Expendables, F&F or MI and the really big names who havent been cancelled can still headline sequels to their old stuff
however if hes found to be at fault (eg. he insisted pointing the gun directly at the camera not slightly off as they supposed to, or if hes responsible for any substandard safety procedures as hes a producer on the film) and gets prosecuted/charged etc he'll be finished in the movie industry i guess (and the film might get cancelled as it was his passion project co-writing/producing)
I'm not necessarily a big fan of Baldwin's but my guess it was just a horrible accident and someone in the prop dept wasn't thorough on their end.
Not verified but Baldwin was reported crying coming out of the Sheriff s dept.
Yeh most likely an accident due to sub standard prop safety practices on a period weapon (but since Baldwin is producing the film ultimately maybe he will be held accountable in some way?) then again why was Baldwin pointing it at someone anyway? when pointing a gun at anyone on set even when at the camera for that 'shooting at the audience' shot they are always supposed to aim slightly off/away just in case..
Yeh he'll be taking it bad as at the end of the day hes shot a woman dead and potentially destroyed his career
Even if it wasn't accidental, he could always move to Massachusetts and become a Senator for life.
shareIt was an accident. Not murder.
He'll have to live with it on his conscience. Maybe he'll take a few years away from the spotlight.

Hey, English isn't my first language. Gimme a break.
shareRoman Polanski is a paedo but Hollyweird couldn't give a fuck. Not sure if (accidentally?) killing your DP is consider by them a worse crime though. I suppose it depends on how many friends she had in the business but I would presume Alec has more.
shareIt isn't a murder. His career was already trending down. It is now over.
shareHow would it be a murder if it was accidental?
shareMurders can also be accidental?
shareTypically, second-degree murder is defined as murder that is not premeditated, or murder that is caused by the offender's reckless conduct that displays an obvious lack of concern for human life.
That depends on who is determined to be responsible for the accident (assuming it was an accident). If it turns out to have been a live round and Baldwin discharged the ordinance believing it was a blank, he could have been quite far away from the camera and not even realized he was pointing at them. Was he in the middle of rehearsing a gunfight or was he fooling around between takes? Was he twenty feet away or two feet away? Were the DP and director standing in one stationary spot or did they move from that spot? Was it a blank or a live round? You need to know these things before calling it "murder", second degree murder, or even manslaughter.
He made fun of Trump. He'll be fine.
