Loss of great lead and character actress. She had her share of problems but will be missed.

She will be missed. I’ve been a fan of hers since Cheers. I had no clue she was so sick. I hope she didn’t suffer long.

Had she signed on for Star Trek III: the Search for Spock (1984), she might have been typecast as a "Star Trek" actress. Maybe she would not have gotten some of the other roles.

Kirstie was from my hometown and still has a house here. I never met her but still sad.
