You've got to love her attempt to demean Trump voters as unsophisticated, uneducated, and untraveled garbage. What she and her great intellect doesn't seem to grasp is that the very rich (presumably well educated) vote Democrat, but the very poor (presumably uneducated) also vote Democrat, and do so at much higher rates than the middle class and the rich. So maybe it's not the lack of education and travel abroad that has anything to do with the way people vote. Maybe they're concerned with the price of gas, eggs, milk..
Meanwhile the middle class (the people who do most of the work in this country) tend to vote Republican. The middle class is split between high school education and advanced college degrees. It's the middle class that's always the hardest hit by bad policy.
Painting the hard working middle class as the great unwashed is a stupid thing to do. I guess one could excuse an actress who spent her life playing make believe, but for the Democrats to say the same thing is what cost them the 2024 election.
